That’s obviously wrong, because you are in a somewhat competitive environment with every other player, whether he is using d2jsp or not. You also cannot claim, that websites that allow for trading outside of the game are a “closed eco system” not influencing other players. So in the end, there is no clear answer to this situation. When the eco system gets slowly filled up with items, it’s a huge unfair advantage to any d2jsp user compared to somebody who is not using the website.īecause now you actually can just buy anything you wish for in a matter of seconds, paid by a virtual currency, which you just owned prior ladder. But… and there is a but…, this only is true for the very first days of a new ladder.Īfter a week, or even more, the unfair advantage of what most people are speaking of becomes more and more true. Those are getting sold for hard cash on various websites, e-bay included. You can be as rich as it gets, you cannot buy that isn’t there.Īnd having that said… the very first Ber, Jah, Sur, Shako or whatever GG item is most definitely not getting traded on D2jsp nor ingame. I really can’t understand why people are getting so outraged about this, when it is so obvious. You can’t buy anything if there isn’t anything. Since the eco system is nullified, no items are on the market. So if you’re very “rich” on that website, you can basically buy anything in a new ladder, as soon as it is available.Įxactly this is the moment, where is argument falls apart. Because people on d2jsp can trade items so fast, because they are using their own custom currency (the forum gold), which is not getting reset on a new ladder. Both commands (from client to server) and returns (from server to client) are handled in this way. The client communicates over ZeroMQ with the server using a REQ/REP pattern. These commands are then sent from the client to and evaluated on the server. Many people here on complain about this, saying, that this is where the biggest advantage (or even cheat) is buried. The client is a specialized REPL that intercepts commands sent through the R interpreter. Everybody starts fresh, without anything. People who are using this trading website say, it is not an unfair advantage, because anyone can join and that it is just another place to trade items and doesn’t harm anybody.Įspecially in a new ladder (which hopefully comes soon) all the eco system is set to zero. People are raging here for a long time to “shut down” this website, because it is an unfair advantage to anyone who is using it. Try that with Blizzard…Īnd still… this keeps a crap reason to force a site to shutdown while there are thousands of satisfied customers/users.Quick disclaimer to anybody who really doesn't know what D2jsp is:ĭ2jsp is a website/forum where people can trade ingame items from several games with an own currency called forum gold. Especially those offering game service/currency. No need to mention that most shops do not offer a money back guarantee. The only answer is banning the account ingame. A lot of cheaters these days pay for online game service, getting coins or whatever and take the money back. One doesn’t cooperate to make a contract after rules and gets his money back… the company has got any right to reject the achievement.ītw. 12 years ago the online sector wasn’t really well regulated. As nobody must have ID or credit card, in the end they might just have wanted a name and address. If a company requires further data for tax or whatever, a customer who wants to hide any data is possibly a problem. Obviously you are not ready to make any compromise. Then I win a PayPal case and got my money back when this thief site refused to do so. I didn’t get what I paid for, because they refused to give me what they promised to give.
